Property of God

19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

What did Paul mean when he said that our bodies belong to God? Many people say they have the right to do whatever they want with their bodies because they feel that it's theirs! And some of that is true when it comes to other people, but not with God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit. Although we think this is freedom, we are enslaved to our desires.

When we become Disciples, the Holy Spirit comes to live in us and helps navigate us through life. Therefore, we no longer own our bodies. We have been "bought with a price" because when Jesus died on the cross, he freed us from sin, and he paid that price with His life, which obligates us to his service. Your body belongs to God, and of that, we shouldn't violate His standards of living. God has created you to do great things and whether you believe it or you're having a hard time excepting that truth because of the life experiences you've had. Whether you're struggling with your identity, purpose, beliefs, or you just need a reminder of who's you are as you journey through this life. We are here to let you know that you are "The Property of God," so live like you're the Son or Daughter of a king! Be B.O.L.DNCHRIST!!
